Four years (alongside university) at an EdTech company bringing programming, robotics, and innovation courses to schools — grew from instructor to co-owner of an internal teacher-training program, teaching kids across 7 institutions in 2 countries, training 750+ teachers, and doing early product/go-to-market work.

School of Tech (schooloftech.cl) is an educational technology company that brings programming, robotics, and innovation courses to schools and institutions. Joined as an instructor and stayed four years, working up to 30 hours/week alongside university studies (including summers), and grew into considerably more than a classroom teacher. The work spanned three layers.

Teaching kids (ages 10–18). Taught programming courses covering video games, electronics, and robotics across 7 educational institutions in 2 countries — from 10-year-olds encountering code for the first time to teenagers building their first electronic projects.

Training teachers. Became an instructor for technology tools — Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Classroom, and collaboration platforms — for 750+ teachers across various establishments, often walking into rooms full of professional educators as a university student and helping them transform how they work.

Entrepreneurship mentorship. Mentored 5 teams of Starbucks staff developing technological entrepreneurship projects; one team placed second at the regional level.

Co-ownership chapter. After several years of consistent, reliable work, leadership offered a co-ownership role in a new internal project — a program teaching teachers how to transform their practice with technology. This was the first step fully outside the classroom and into something closer to business: conducting statistical analysis of teaching competencies across a dataset of 2,000+ teachers, designing data visualizations to communicate market-research findings, building PowerPoint presentations used directly in sales (showing prospective institutional clients how technology adoption improved outcomes in schools already using the methods), and participating in academic design for teacher-training workshops. In hindsight, this was product thinking and go-to-market work — identifying a market need, quantifying it, and packaging it into a compelling pitch — and the first clear signal of the kind of work that felt closest to the career direction worth pursuing.

The range of audiences was the real education: teaching a 10-year-old robotics, mentoring adults on entrepreneurship, and convincing a room of professional teachers to change how they work each demanded a different register. Over four years and hundreds of classes, that built fluent code-switching between technical depth and accessible simplicity, between authority and humility, between instruction and facilitation.
