Mentor

Silabuz (no longer in operation as of December 2022) brought in a mentor for a small number of specific events — roughly 10 in total — for high-school students working on personal technology projects, alongside university studies on a freelance, event-based basis. The focus differed from School of Tech: rather than teaching technical skills directly, the role was to shape how students think — how to approach a problem as an entrepreneur rather than just a student, how to apply critical thinking when confronting new technologies, and how to move through innovation circles (brainstorming, discovery, research, validation). Brief and targeted, but it reinforced a lesson already taking shape: teaching methodology and mindset is often more valuable than teaching content.
